Since 2020, Project Farma has been at the forefront of a national effort to partner with The Salvation Army and become the first organization to launch a nation-wide campaign to support their holiday ‘Angel Tree’ initiative. Thanks to our collective efforts over the past five years, 1,500+ children across the country have experienced the joy of receiving a gift for the holidays. This success inspired us to launch our ‘Holiday Heroes’ movement, to amplify our impact with the help of our team, family, and partners like you.
Angels on Salvation Army’s ‘Angel Tree’ can be children of low-income families, families impacted by medical debt, families experiencing homelessness, or a myriad of other situations. Most of the time, Angels wish lists consist of new clothes like winter coats, winter gear, socks, or children’s toys. The Salvation Army’s virtual ‘Angel Tree’ initiative connects our team from across the nation by working together to provide Christmas gifts for hundreds of thousands of underprivileged children around the country each year. ​ ​Will you join Project Farma in becoming a Holiday Hero? What is Project Farma’s Holiday Heroes campaign? ​
Holiday Heroes is not only an annual PF holiday giveback tradition, it’s a national giveback movement!

Thanks to our collective efforts over the past five years, 1,500+ children across the country have experienced the joy of receiving a gift for the holidays. This success inspired us to launch our ‘Holiday Heroes’ movement, to amplify our impact with the help of our team, family, and partners like you.

What is the Virtual Angel Tree Program? Who are the Angels?​
The Salvation Army ‘Angel Tree’ initiative helps provide Christmas gifts for hundreds of thousands of children around the country each year. Once a child has been registered and accepted as an Angel, their Christmas wish list is shared with donors who generously sponsor that Angel by purchasing gifts from their wish list.
Angels on Salvation Army’s ‘Angel Tree’ can be children of low-income families, families impacted by medical debt, families experiencing homelessness, or a myriad of other situations. Most of the time, Angels wish lists consist of new clothes like winter coats, winter gear, socks, or children’s toys. Once the purchased, unwrapped gifts are sent to your local Salvation Army, the gifts are distributed to the family of the Angel to wrap and place under their family Christmas tree providing the family a sense of dignity and the child and sense of holiday cheer. Staying true to our PF CARES philosophy, it is in our DNA to seek opportunities to have an impact on our communities across the country. The Salvation Army’s virtual ‘Angel Tree’ initiative connects our team from across the nation by working together to provide Christmas gifts for hundreds of thousands of underprivileged children around the country each year.
Over the past five years, what began as a holiday giveback campaign, Holiday Heroes, has grown into a nation-wide movement! Though a first-of-it’s kind partnership with The Salvation Army’s ‘Angel Tree’ initiative, the Project Farma team has brought joy to over 1,500 children across the U.S. – and we’re just getting started!

Can anyone become a Holiday Hero?
Yes, this is a national giveback movement after all! From now until December 12, we’re inviting you to join the movement and amplify our impact by inviting friends, family and clients to join too! Let’s amplify the impact and spread holiday cheer to more families than ever this season.

How long will the Holiday Heroes campaign be running?
December 12 is the deadline for gift donations to be received by your local Salvation Army. Please check our Angel Tree Website to locate your nearest participating Salvation Army.
Important: All gifts must be unwrapped upon donation with the code from the Angel written on or inside the box. If you are ordering from Amazon, we encourage you to include your code on the gift receipt taped to the gift for ease of access.

When do gifts need to be purchased and donated by?
December 12, 2025 is the deadline for gift donations to be received by your local Salvation Army to ensure family disbursement in time for Christmas. Please check our Virtual Angel Tree website to locate your nearest participating Salvation Army. Any gifts submitted to the Salvation Army after this date will be used for forgotten Angels picking up presents after Christmas or saved for the 2025 holiday season. Is there any guidance on how much we should be spending on an Angel or a gift?
The Salvation Army advises team members to set a max budget of $35 toward gift fulfillment for their selected Angel.
What if there are many items listed for my selected Angel and I can only purchase one?
Not a problem! You can purchase one or all of the gifts listed on your Angel's tag.
